CK-JI'S favorite - Satsangs with Swami Shantananda

Satsang means - the company (SANG) of those who love to talk about, listen to, share, and or impart (through devotional songs), the 'higher knowledge' and/or the 'truth that never dies' - SAT. These particular satsang excerpts are from 'Guru Poornima - Satsangs with Swami Shantananda' in Singapore (1990) and K/L (1993).

This 1990 satsang excerpt starts with a delightful song, written by H.H. Swami Shantananda Saraswathi, and joyously sung by him, with the accompanemt of 'celestial sounding' voices, and Indian instruments such as flute, harmonium, violin, tabla, cymbals etc. Following the song, a traditional prayer, and then Swamiji gives a talk encouraging students to develop SRADDHA - 'faith', and confidence etc. in 'the guru', and tells how to consciously prepare for the upcoming 'golden opportunities' to study under the direction and guidence of their music guru CK-Ji.
